ABE Information AND Testing Sessions Spring 2025

A PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THIS APPOINTMENT.
The appointment will last approximately three and a half (3.5) hours.
This session is for anyone who is interested in enrolling in Adult Basic Education (ABE) classes, which includes High School Equivalency preparation classes to prepare for official High School Equivalency tests.
During this session, students will receive information about ABE classes and the College and Career Readiness program at Wake Tech.
Students will also complete their information form and take their placement test.
- A PHOTO ID is required to take your assessment test.
- CHILDREN ARE NOT ALLOWED.

The registration process is open, but all the reservations for the Information sessions are full or sign ups have closed. Please check the site again later in case there are any cancellations.
No, please make other arrangements for childcare during the session.
Yes, please bring a photo identification with the name you will be using for school. We can only use your legal name on school records.
Yes, you may bring a friend/family member to help you with the application if space is available. They will not be allowed in the testing room during your assessment. Only individuals with a reservation are allowed to submit an application.
Yes! You will have a short appointment to complete paperwork and choose your class schedule, then you will take the required assessment.
The session will last around 3 hours total.
Arrive at least ten minutes before the start time and plan on staying until the end of the session.
