Need help paying for college? The first step is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and Wake Tech is here to help! Students can receive FAFSA assistance from a Financial Aid Office representative and get answers to general financial aid questions.

- What do I need?
Verified account username and password (FSA ID), Social Security Card, Federal income tax documents, W-2’s and other records of money earned.
- Do I need my parent's information?
- Which FAFSA should I complete?
If you plan to enroll in Spring 2025 and/or Summer 2025, complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA using your 2022 tax and income information. The 2025-2026 FAFSA is required for enrollment in Fall 2025 – Summer 2026 using your 2023 tax and income information.
- How long will it take?
It may take up to 30 minutes to fill out the FAFSA form.
- Is there free parking available on campus?
Wake Tech has free visitor parking spots around campus. We recommend parking in Lot A in any visitor or unmarked space.
- I am unable to make it to this event. Can I still get help with my FAFSA?
